Projects for the end of 2008/early 2009
The major project for the end of 2008 was finishing up the World of Charles Dickens display at Playland-Not-At-The-Beach, in El Cerrito, Ca. For those of you who don’t know, Playland is a museum dedicated to bygone amusements but is filled to the gills with Amazing stuff. The World of Charles Dickens is the last and biggest of the inital attractions planned. Years of planning, hundreds of man hours and tons of styrofoam went into making this room. This is one of things that pictures can never do it justice. I snapped about 100 pictures but none of them really capture the scale of it. You’ll have to stop by and see it for yourself, check out www.playland-not-at-the-beach.org for more details.
